Grad School is hard...

Honestly, why am I here?

SPRING BREAK!!!!

If I don't kill myself first.

I like the 7/2/7 syllable poem; simple, yet elegant.

And the questions you raise but never answer, leaving for the reader to ponder. Why are any of us where we are? Where are we? Where are we, really? What binds us to these locations, what weights us down in potential migration?

Why four exclamation points? Why not three, or five? Is it because four represents completion and stability? Does it imply the four cardinal directions on the compass - that spring break has infinite possibility, that you are no longer tied to a certain location, but free to roam?

And the form matches the function - the poem ends with an "IF" statement, implying that as far as spring break may take the you, you will never truly be free of the Computer Science that haunts you; it is a part of you.

These are Graduate Days.
